Radiation plus chemotherapy

Radiotherapy sessions and operations are frequently combined with chemotherapy regimens, which are then generally described as "adjuvant" (supporting). The therapies can be carried out at the same time. The adverse interactions should be monitored for the level of dosage selected.

If chemotherapy is carried out as a supporting treatment, the neighbouring cancer outpatient unit at the INTERNISTISCHE KLINIK DR. MÜLLER  is available. This hospital for internal medicine cooperates closely with the RPTC. Nowadays, chemotherapy regimens are generally carried out in a day clinic or on an outpatient basis. Therefore, it is easy to combine them with radiation appointments. If this combination therapy is too stressful for you, there will also be a hospital bed at your disposal in close proximity to the Centre.
