Standard protocols
The laws governing radiation therapy in Germany and our operating license require us to give each patient his own individually designed treatment plan. These laws also require us to draft so-called standard protocols for common tumor types and localized tumors in the form of a theoretical pre-treatment plan. To see PRO HEALTH’S current standard protocols for proton treatment for the following tumor types, please click below:
- AVM
- Brain metastasis
- Glioma
- Meningeoma
- Chordoma / Chondrosarcoma
- Nasopharynx carcinoma
- NSCLC bronchial carcinoma, stage I/II
- NSCLC bronchial carcinoma, stage III/IV
- Pancreatic carcinoma
- Cholangiocarcinoma
- Liver tumor, small (carcinoma or metastasis)
- Liver tumor, medium-sized
- Prostate carcinoma
These protocols are for informational purposes only; they describe today’s most commonly used X-ray technologies (photons) and suggested standard proton treatment plans, which are subsequently adjusted and optimized for each patient. They also include graphics and a performance analysis in table form with commentary.
